Dear ProInspire Community,
We are writing to share that we have reached another significant milestone in ProInspire’s journey. On December 1, 2024, Isabelle Moses will step down as co-CEO, and Bianca will step into the role of sole CEO, marking a new chapter filled with potential and growth.
Over the past three years, we’ve dedicated time to refining our strategic direction, clarifying our theory of change, and shaping our collective vision for the future. The co-CEO model began as a core part of a three-year succession plan with our founder, Monisha Kapila. What has emerged in the final stages of our strategic planning efforts for 2025 and beyond is that a co-CEO model is not necessary as we transition into the next stage of ProInspire’s evolution with a clarified strategic focus.
We are grateful for the eight years that Isabelle served as a board member prior to joining the staff. What emerged in the onboarding process is that Isabelle’s role was more consistent with an interim co-CEO. Her leadership and expertise have been critical in finalizing our strategic implementation planning during this transition year. Isabelle’s leadership supported phasing out programming that will not continue with ProInspire’s updated strategic direction. The decision to move to a sole CEO model honors ProInspire’s commitment to aligning our leadership structure with our strategic and financial sustainability plans while honoring our evolving needs as individual leaders.
Our time together surfaced critical learnings we intend to share with the sector. One of those lessons is that the co-leadership model is shaped by timing, context, and the current needs of the organization. In our newly published Thriving Leaders and Communities (TLC) report, we shared that thriving is a journey that is not linear or static and often requires making brave and necessary adjustments to truly create conditions for thriving leaders and organizations.
At ProInspire, we are committed to modeling what it means to lead with authenticity and purpose-driven leadership. When something no longer serves the organization’s purpose, personal preferences are set aside to focus on the collective good and mission of the organization. We want to embody thriving, not just talk about it. This decision reflects that commitment.
We look forward to celebrating Isabelle at an upcoming Brilliant Transformations Happy Hour at the Facing Race conference in St. Louis, Missouri, as we honor Isabelle’s leadership and this new chapter of ProInspire’s story. If you are committed to supporting an organization dedicated to leading authentically and modeling in real-time our commitment to thriving organizations and leaders, we invite you to join us and stay connected.
With gratitude and optimism for the future,
Bianca Anderson, co-CEO
Isabelle Moses, co-CEO
